The Scottish Cup’s our headline act this week and Kelty Hearts have assembled a squad far stronger than their league merits. They can roast Auchinleck Talbot at home.

Inverness were a nice little earner last week and there still seems to be value on backing them again this week to overcome Queen of the South at home at just short of evens.

Motherwell at home to Ross County at a similar price is just as generous. That’s your Tasty Treble!

For a fab 4 fold we can add East Fife. I like Dumbarton but momentum is the factor here. East Fife are flying high against a Dumbarton side who have a grumbling support, they should be odds on.

Elsewhere in Division 1, Falkirk away have to be fancied and Forfar desperately need to get back on track with a home win against Montrose. In Division 2, Stenhousemuir are worth a bet at 13/10

Lastly a reluctant small wager on Livi. The annoying bastards seem to have assembled a decent team of cloggers, and on their plastic excuse for a pitch can gain further advantage against an Aberdeen team who are not at their best. 9/4 is worth a small flutter. No offence Livi.

Posting on route to Mexico and hoping a change of country might bring a change in fortunes in what has been a bruising few weeks. If not we might need to stay there!

The early value was on Inverness at 11/5 and this is generous for one of the top sides in the division. Dunfermline have been inconsistent – this test should enlighten us.

Was undecided on Hearts but they have drifted to a price that is too attractive at Tynecastle. Motherwell have been good but we’ll take Hearts at 7/5.

In division 2, Queens Park and Edinburgh City are fancied and good value at roughly evens at home, likewise we’ll take a home Clyde at the same price to take care of a very unpredictable Stranraer.

Tasty Treble? Hearts, Edinburgh and Queens Park. Closely followed by Clyde for a 4 fold.

Lastly both St Mirren and Forfar away are both worth a light wager at generous prices.
