1 point – Annan @ 7/5

Away tae Pick

3 aways today. Not huge value and a bit wary tbh since home advantage should be big factor in the first full crowd games but 2 of the 3 have no much fans anyway so we’ll go with it.

1 point – St Mirren @ 23/10
1 point – Motherwell @ 21/10
1 point – Stirling Albion @ 13/10

Europa, Conference.. Whatever, Special!!!

Noone has a clue what is going on in European competitions any more but in any case there are some Scottish teams playing and we can seek value by remembering how woefully they generally perform against their foreign counterparts.

Bet of the night is Galatasary. They can be had at 11/10 against St Johnstone. Enough said. Rijeka are also 11/10 at home to Hibs. Bit more risky but the Croats are probably still value given our track record.

To complete a Tasty Treble, Celtic are in free-scoring form and with a big crowd back can buck the trend against a team who have probably given up on the tie. They are worth taking to win by more than one goal at 8/11.

As a wee outside addition, a small stake could be afforded on the Icelanders heading to Aberdeen, priced at 8/1. You wouldn’t put it past the Dandy Dons to lose – they’ve done worse.

Tasty Treble
2 points – Galatasary @ 11/10
1 point – Rijeka @ 11/10
1 point – Celtic-1 @ 8/11

Mibbe
0.5 points – Breidablik @ 8/1

Back for more

Last nights bets against B teams went ok – 3/4. Disappointing with Brora though who messed up against 10 weans.

Back for more tonight. Slightly higher risk against better Ranges and Celtic B’s, but we are rewarded appropriately. Strongly fancy Peterheid against Dundee kids – can’t see them being up to much.

2 points – Peterhead @ 4/6
1 point – Annan @ 9/4
1 point – Dumbarton @ evens

Lambs to the Slaughter

Men against boys always offers opportunities each year in the Challenge Cup when teh B teams are admitted. The past bumper prices have been eroded away but these are still worth taking, particularly with the over age players limited to two, which is slightly stricter than past years.

Brora at home to Aberdeens lambs offers the pick of the value at 13/10, I suppose because Brora are non-league. I don’t see the Teuchters taking to kindly to being beaten by a bunch of weans though. The others are short and we should have got in earlier, but will take them. Kelty Hearts are just a bit too short away to Saints so we’ll leave them.

In other news, Rangers are strongly fancied to go through Champions League qualifier. Malmo are strong opposition, but their past record in Europe coupled with a full house at Ibrox makes them worth a bet at 13/8 to win by more than 1 goal, which they need to do to qualify.

In summary:

1 point – Brora Rangers @ 13/10
1 point – Stenhousemuir @ 8/15
1 point – East Fife @ 9/20
1 point – Elgin City @ 8/15
1 point – Huns – 1 @ 13/8

Sheep Backers

Aberdeen today’s pick of the day at 2/1. This will be a good measure of where they and Livi are at. Add St Mirren to repeat their last home league game win against Hearts at 9/4 and a safer Montrose at 8/11 and you have a Treble somewhat Tasty.

Add Stirling at 5/2 for a 4 fold and Peterheid could complete an unlikely, but very rewarding, Fab 5 at 5/1.

Tasty Treble:
1 point – Aberdeen @ 2/1
1 point – St Mirren @ 9/4
1 point Montrose @ 8/11

Others:
1 point – Stirling @ 5/2
0.5 points – Peterheid @ 5/1
