Pork Bellycopter Friday

Bit of a Friday flop to finish the season for the Championship however closer inspection can find value in every game. Only two teams are desperate to win but two teams will be resting players ahead of big game midweek.

Ayr are bet of the day. Need to win against Partick who wil play in play off on Tuesday – 8/5. Dungfermline are highly likely to win too at home to doomed Queen of the South and are still worth taking at odds on. Completing Tasty Treble is Morton who are away to Arbroath. Can’t see Arbroath’s reserves being much use so if they rest players, Mortons 23/5 price is big value.

Hamilton can make a very tasty four fold for the same reasons as Morton. Killie away to Raith is a bit more difficult to call as both have nothing to play for but could see Killie riding on their Championship win and will have players competing for a Premier League contract.

That’s all folks. Enjoy! 🐷

Queen of the Sows to battle on

On a quiet Tuesday night Queen of the South are worth a bet at 7/2 at home. 9 points adrift at the bottom of the Championship and just been pumped 5-1 by Arbroath they may seem down and out with just three games to go – and they probably are.

However since Willie Gibsons appointment Queens have been a wee bit unlucky and, Arbroath aside, have seen some decent performances go unrewarded. And on closer inspection, they are not yet a lost cause.

A win tonight and they will have Dunfermline and Ayr to play in their last two fixtures. So they will be hugely motivated here by the thought that winnig their three remaining games could see them pull off the Great Escape. Especially since the alternative could well be players losing their pro football jobs and having to go back to stackng shelves if they don’t win.

With Inverness already having an eye on the play offs, 7/2 is definitely worth a shot.

Porkers Birthday Present! ?

A special birthday gift to share with you all!

Three favourites combine to make an 8/1 Tasty Treble today. Motherwell will be tricky but I fancy Livi to annoyingly do what needs to be done and sneak into the Top 6. Dundee Utd should enjoy pummeling the Dundee fatties and pushing their fat arses through the relegation trap door and Annan will be doing Cowndenbeath a favour by putting them out of their misery and consigning them to the potential abyss of the lower leagues. No-one has ever returned.

For a Fab 5, Airdrie are practically unbeatable right now so even at Montrose, 19/10 is well worth taking. In League 2, Edinburgh City should be right up for it with all to play for against a Forfar side wth very little. 12/5 at home is generous. 60/1 Five fold!

Elsewhere, Aberdeen should surely win at home to get top 6 although I’m not overly confident and Peterhead and Stenny are two other fancied aways. Big outsider of the day is Big Thick Yogis Dunfermline. Tough ask to beat top of the league Kille at Rugby Park but this is a form team
who are desperate to win, Killie will need to be on it.

Friday Night Special

Great bet tonight in League 2 – Edinburgh City will be desperate to get back to winning ways after a recent slump and must win to keep their play off place. Kelty have already won the league and could be caught off gaurd here after surely some hefty celebrations through the week. Add to that fresh impetus from new manager Alan Maybury and they have a good chance. Despite the long price I’m still betting double points on this one – 5/1 could bring a nice return.

Ayr Utd will be more keen than Hamilton and have had an upturn in form also since their new manager Lee Bullen came in. I could see two home victories undfer the lights – an 18/1 double!

Eat it up! ?

Deadly Double:
2 points – Edinburgh City @ 5/1
