Well it’s the first round of the Diddy Cup proper when the big guns like Montrose and Caernarfon Town enter the fray. With it being a Saturday fixture we shoudld expect reasonably strong sides to be fielded.
Still some kiddies teams in there and Montrose won’t be embarassed in front of their home fans to Kilmarnocks weans – that is nap of the day, even at 4/9.
The Welsh hilbillies are up in their droves to Hamilton to watch Caerarfon against Clyde. Clyde have started well, but the Welsh should be a decent match for them and they should be up for the wee adventure outside of their backwaters. 17/10 is worth taking.
Linfied on the other hand are a bit more weathered and enjoy trips abroad regularly – this will be seen as more of a nuisance whereas it’s a refreshing challenge for decent Highland team Buckie Thistle. 9/2 at home is worth a punt.
Lastly, Peterhead are coming together a bit, but have been woeful so far over all. Elgin have started reasonably well, so at 11/4 they are value in the Highland derby.
The first 3 make a very Tasty Treble, or all 4 for an even healthier return.
Enjoy! 🐷
